I am new to this game. I am looking at the necro-alchemist card and it says whenever you play a spell, if there are fewer than 3 charge counters on necro-alchemist, put a charge counter on necro-alchemist. So i am totally lost on what those charge counters are. Are they those little square cards it came with that have the same symbols as the dice? Because I also see a symbol on those cards that look like an explosion and I have no clue about what they are and what the even do? Can someone please explain please please, please.

It's technically the 'explosion' side. you could use whatever you wanted for it though, just something to signify "i have a charge counter" The concept behind them is just that they're a resource the Necro-Alchemist can spend to buff his attack temporarily. The Necro-Alchemist's card pretty clearly explains what they do and how to use them.

Basically, when you play a spell, put a charge counter/piece of lint/poker chip/quarter or whatever else on him to signify that he has a thing, to a maximum of 3. Then, at the beginning of his turn, you can remove one of those things that you're using to signify his charge counters to give him a temporary attack bonus. "Charge Counters" are just the term they use to mean "Nechro-Alchemist ability fuel".

So i may remove only one counter per round? If that is the case, I honestly don't get why he costs 25 more than the other hero

Another queries... 1) Does the Neo Alchemist have any charge counter with him when summoned or he earned one only each time a a spell has been played? 2) Rule does not mentioned that only one charge counter can be used, only "counter" (in singular form). Does this mean that I can use 3 counters all at the same time to gain a +6 attack dice?

robert1( He comes in to play with no counters. He must earn each one. 2) Only one counter can be used at a time. Sorry, but no +6 attack dice.

This is the official answer. Its a bit counterintuitive, but i still would play it like this. Its a great spike tactic. When only reading the card text i would say that you can only remove one counter per turn.
