It's telling me that it isn't available. I think you need to make it public, it wants me to friend you.

Awesome! Would you mind showing the battlefield scenarios as listed in the rule book. I'm also wondering how the weird tree things and the new glyphs work.

Sorry if I missed something or this has been covered but is all the speculation about a small box EMN expansion based on some actual info? Why wouldn't the next small box be KLD this winter just like the BFZ small box?

WotC tends to be oddly conservative about supporting anything besides core D&D or Magic. People who had high hopes for Dungeon Command or the D&D Adventure System board games will know what I mean.
Sells really well and everybody loves it? Ah well maybe we'll continue it or maybe not.
Apparently Hasbro only responds to REALLY big numbers. Imagine if Fantasy Flight worked on that business model - they'd cancel 90% of their stuff.
Having done all that griping I'm thrilled that we're getting another big box set. And hope we at least get another couple of boxes per year...

We all feel on top of the world now that we can build armies and decks and we're letting ourselves believe that the game is gonna make it. I want to believe.

Tha game designers did a great job! The new figures (Ghoul Vanguard!!11!) and spells are very thematic and fit perfectly in the Shadows over Innistrad theme. Also they gave us a two-sided cardboard and the fall down rule now makes sense. I really like Nahiri's Lithomacy ability. Seems like the designers have considerd some of the ideas written in this forum. ( planeswalker-arena.boards.net/thread/49/custom-terraformer-planeswalker) It's sad that it will take some more months until SoI will be available in Europe...

i agree they really seemed to give us what we wanted in that a lot of backlash came from not good quality and not enough terrain with some gripe of not having a battlefield on the back of the board, the flimsy ruins and custom terrain to show the plain. This addition really took this and made it what we want with better quality, more terrain so we are at least satisfied, playable battlefield on the back, and custom terrain to show innistrad have replaced the ruins:)

Has anyone seen or shared a full scan of the instruction book? I see bits and pieces but no complete document.

Has anyone seen or shared a full scan of the instruction book? I see bits and pieces but no complete document. I bought the expansion yesterday, and from I've seen looking through the book is that most of the rules are the same. they added a rule for deck building saying only ONE copy of each card. they added rules for the cryptoliths and they added counters(+1 , +1 , and charge). there is a link in a post from zeek the sneak that has pictures of those changes.

Does it say anywhere in army building whether you can add partial squads for partial points? Or do you need to add the full squad?

It just says one planeswalker, then total army cards point up to whatever you agree on for the point limit. I personally wouldn't take a partial squad, however you are free to play however you like in your own game sessions.

I don't particularly like the idea of partial squads, but they do list the points for individual squad members. I'm pretty sure that's just for kill value. I think playing a single hookmaster is pretty lulzy, but I think that might be a bit degenerate.

I managed to purchase this the other day. Are stores allowed to sell this, or is my store breaking street date?
Regardless, the rulebook explicitly states that partial points are there for battlefield scenarios which involve scoring. There's a scenario where one player has to kill a set number of points from the other team and you use it for that scenario.

Got mine in today. Have yet to play, only studied the new units. Jace, Investigator was a top card ability seemed useless until I saw that the Lantern Geists allow me to know what card is on top of the deck on any given turn. Flicker seems like a cool ability. Zombie tribal looks very cool and very fun! Cannot wait to have that fight. Cultists give a chance for more figures on the battlefield, always a plus in my world. does little to excite me. There is just no real synergy after 3 sets. Not saying that is bad, just a little boring. finally feels like they have some fighting capabilities. Avacyn looks very capable of destroying squads, which was something was really lacking on. Overall I feel like got shafted. Cool werewolves, but that was the only new unit. However, mtg tends to have a color focus during certain sets. I am sure that a future set will allow to have its day. This set alone will increase play exponentially. We have enough for the same color PW's to fight each other. We can finally deck build and team build enough for it to be significant. It will take much longer to be bored with this game now.
