Fling has to be one of my most favorite cards ever made in Magic. Straight to the point and brilliant. Even though I dislike the name and image of Infernal Plunge, I'm glad that they managed to insert the Fling effect into Arena. It's such an accurate and faithful representation of Fling's effect in Arena. Probably one of the better cards like this, if not the best in this game.

Good call. I hadn't noticed until you pointed that out. There is one major difference though, and that's Fling uses a creature's , while infernal plunge uses their remaining life. You could pump a creatures up really huge then sac it to fling. It will be nearly impossible to pump a creatures life up that way.

This spell cries out for a / duel caster. Gain control of an opponent's creature then sac it to Infernal Plunge...

FYI I just realised that this spell was not correctly translated to german.
The phrase "you control" is missing in german. Thats a huge difference...
