has always been about healing & protection. I felt that this was missing from the game. I tried to word Circle of Protection to work with the game mechanics, so I made it a hidden enchantment. Healing Circle is pretty self explanatory, although I may change it to "remove 1 damage marker from all friendly units within 4 clear sight spaces of PW, including the PW." Dunno. And for Vigilance, I wanted to keep enemy figures from dancing around my character while engaged. It kinda makes sense, with the meaning of Vigilance, I mean. I hope the mechanic takes off... Comments? Questions? I feel that with these 3 extra cards/color, AotP games will have a more diverse feel and may balance out some of the underpowered characters. Playtest them, PLEASE! Let me know how to make these cards better?

I'm not understanding part of the Circle of Protection . Counter all sources of non-friendly source's color and Prevent all damage from source's color until the start of your next turn. I'm missing what is being countered in the first half of the sentence - Counter all sources of non-friendly source's color.

Okay.... how bout: "Counter all spells played by attacking figure's controller targetting Enchanted Squad and Prevent all damage dealt to Enchanted Squad until the start of your next turn. Destroy Circle of Protection" The originals stated a Protection of that doesn't translate well into AotP.

While Circle of Protection is active, this squad my not be targeted by spells or any other attack or . Destroy Circle of Protection at the start of your next turn. A wording something like this might clarify things in a multi-player game.

I personally like (Gideon) a lot, but I consider that his spell deck deck doesn't have much offensive , and I understand that the nature of makes them defensive, but maybe there can be an enchantment that provides the Counter ability to a squad. Really like the work man.

Really like the work man. Thanks for the suggestions. I understand where you're coming from but with the way that handles the counters, I didn't want to change that mechanic too much. This is AotP's way of doing MtG's Instant cards. The downside to it is that you can't choose *when* they're triggered and if you forget, you lose the effect. I barely returned to the "scene" recently and am planning a few updates as well as figuring out what cards I want to do next... I need the expansion before that, though - to see what mechanics have been introduced....
