I'm curious as to what everyone thinks of the expansion's "boss mode." Our group finds that the boss is fairly easy to defeat with a nominal amount of strategy. Perhaps we're playing poorly as the boss, but we've not found a way to win with him. I would think it would be the other way around, that you would have a hard winning against him, not with him.

I've only played as the Ruiner twice now and i still have a hard time learning a good ability rotation or strategy for him. I won both times against two opponents but it just seemed like luck. I found it helps to use a shortened, quick reference sheet for all the abilities. Here's mine: • Turn start: 1 damage to all adjacent non-eldrazi. • +2 against ranged attacks. • Take 1 damage, revive a scion from graveyard. Once per turn. • +5 . -2 for each opponent on a glyph. • Summon Scions. • Upon kill, attack again. • If no PW is adjacent, 1 damage to all figures in 6 sight spaces. • Take a turn with Scions.
