Interesting and very cool. You could also mix the two to make a 4-hex oasis.

I posted a link to this thread over on Heroscapers.com. Custom TilesLong ago I had purchased the Fat Dragon Games paper terrain and made a few of the pieces, I can see using these textures as alternate surfaces on the Fat Dragon terrain for additional variety.

Yeah these are just the basic tiles... I did some test tiles to learn the process using textures I DON'T have permission to redistribute. I didn't wanna invest the time until I learned how to make the tiles, and see how they looked when done. That said, I will probably invest a few hours over the course of the week to make some alternate configurations. If you got any you wanna see, shoot me a layout like that one. I really like the idea of using thin foam or cardboard to make them elevated tiles, or just increase durability in general.
