Origins - June 14 – 18, Columbus, OH. It is normally $70/weekend, but I registered Heroscapers as a "Club" so people can get a 1/2 off badge price. So this brings the weekend pass down to $35, including the price at the door! I think this is a lot more doable for people, as Gencon's door price is $120. Please PM me your full name and e-mail address you will be registering with by April 30 and I will add you to the club and give you the discount code.
Schedule (Subject to change):
Friday 6/16:
Saturday 6/17:
Also, Friday and Saturday night from 9pm-11pm I am running games for fans of Werewolf, Mafia, and Curse of Ne-Gok-Sa (CoN)
Social Deduction Games - Secret Hitler/Secret Hamilton, Coup, The Resistance/Avalon, Batman: Almost Got 'Em
Fan of mafia/werewolf but want something newer and more structured? Try various social deduction games. Games played determined by interest and number of players. Generics can be used per hour, and werewolf ribbon used for all events. Come and go per game.
I submitted anyone who PMd me their name and e-mail address to be part of our Heroscapers club, and got the club code for the discount. Contact me by April 30, and I will give you a code you can get tickets up to the day of the show for the $35 price. However, being part of the club that saves you $35+ comes with a price: I need some volunteers to set up on Thursday night, tear down on Saturday night or Sun morning, and to run events. If you can volunteer during at least one event that would be great as I need 1 non-playing GM per event (or dual events when Heroscape and Magic:Arena are simultaneous), and maybe 1 additional volunteer who can play in the event but is available to answer rules questions. If you can volunteer for 2 or more events (such as 1 non-playing GM in a tournament and one of the Learn-to-Plays), I can get you a free badge and/or 1/4 hotel room as compensation. Also, if you are experienced with Social Deduction Games I may want additional help running.
