So I was reading someone else's card about cards that have x for cost and I was thinking what if a mana mechanic was made for some cards?
I was thinking that it would be added in as a new rule.
At the start of each of your turns you get one mana token. You may use these tokens to cast spells with x or certain cost. This could be used to both balance some cards that don't have double edged effect and to do some x valued cards.
The tokens could either refill each turn or just be a resource. Thoughts?

I was thinking about this too. My thoughts were to have the tokens be colored mana. At the start of each of your turns you generate two mana. Mono-colored planeswalkers get two of there color and duo-colored planeswalkers get one of each of their colors. The idea is since duo-colors have more building options than mono-colors, that they may have to wait a few turns before they have enough of a single type of mana to use mana abilities. There could also be glyphs that generate mana. A generic +1 mana of your color glyphs, and +2 glyphs of a specific color.
