I know this is supposed to be a sand tile, but I could not resist to paint it. I hope you enjoy.

Really nice! What method did you use to apply your paint ( or is it grey)? I honestly can't tell.

Really nice! What method did you use to apply your paint ( or is it grey)? I honestly can't tell. Basically, first I applied base "Citadel Abaddon " then applied "Citadel Dawnstone". I spent two layers of this gray. Next I applied a dark wash to highlight the cracks. Following this gray mixed with and trough of dry brush applied the mixture. finally, back to add more to the first mixture, to highlight the edges of the tile. easy and good result. Then I'll paint all my sand tiles to rock tiles

tochas, your tile looks really nice! May I offer a word of caution though... Since the sides of the tiles are tapered (very slightly) to improve the interlock between tiles, too much paint on the sides may make it difficult to interlock tiles, or even worse, more difficult to disconnect them. The sides may also be prone to getting the paint scratched off of them over time.
