You have to play with a few house rules, so here they are:
1. If a Planeswalker dies and there are still unsummoned troops, put those troops in your figure graveyard. This stops some of the saving your troops and summoning then ALL around an enemy Planeswalker.
I'm thinking about having a knockback rule, like if the defending figure rolls no shields, they get knocked back 1 space, if they take at least 2 damage. They DO NOT take leaving engagement. If they CANNOT be knocked back, instead of being knocked back, the opponent makes one Attack of Opportunity. (One die attack that's unblockable, basically leaving engagement)

Or maybe just if they take 2 damage. It'll be cool because it'll affect the positioning of troops. (Less turtling!)

Actually, if they take 1 damage but the attacker must roll at LEAST 2 attack

In general, an army has only one Planeswalker. Since it must be the PW's turn to summon figures onto the gameboard, Once the PW is gone no armies can be summoned by that player. If you are playing with more than on PW in an army, I agree that this would be an important rule.
As for knockback, I'd suggest you test it in a non-game situation. I'm wondering if it might cause confusion when counter strike is involved on the figure being knocked back.

Thanks. I think that Counterstrike shouldn't work. And as for testing it out of game, I have no friends and okay against myself, so no problem! I tried it on the Void King Of The Hill scenario, and it really balanced it, because it made it a lot harder to stay on the victory point with a really strong hero or Planeswalker *Coughs* Ob Nixilis *Coughs again* It either knocked them off or did more damage. Unfortunately, I forgot about the rule halfway through, and just had fun playing normally. I think it's a good rule if you're doing a real world battle simulation, but for the actual game, I think it's better left as a rule when you're bored and want to mix things up
