moon pointed out to me that the custom card templates I posted a while back were hard to find so I am posting up the collection of my resources in a single place for ease of access. Feel free to use these templates and resources for your custom creations. If you have ideas for custom cards but don't have the time/effort/ability to produce the cards, I am quite happy to do the graphics work - just send me a message with the details. CARD TEMPLATESThese templates were made in Microsoft Publisher. They can be edited in Publisher or one can use the PDF also provided to edit in imaging software. To get official looking cards you will need to use the non-standard fonts found below.

The fonts used in the above templates are not on a computer by default so here they are for your use. FONTSbeleren-bold_P1.01.ttf (90.06 KB) - "Beleren" font used in name and type boxes mplantin.ttf (67.99 KB) - "MPlantin" font used in abilities box mplantinit.ttf (75.58 KB) - "MPlantin Italic" font used for flavour text To install a font, open the file it by double clicking it and then pressing the install button in the preview window that appears. For Windows users: If you cannot install fonts due to not having admin rights you can still use them by doing the following: 1) Download and install the PortableApps.com Platform, file and instructions found here
Note: This does not require admin rights and can be installed onto a flash drive.2) Inside the directory [ Install location]\PortableApps\PortableApps.com\Data Create a folder called "Fonts" (without the quotes) 3) Download the fonts into the Fonts folder you have just created 4) Start (or restart) the PortableApps Platform (double click on start.exe in your install location) 5) While the PortableApps Platform is running all other programs can access the fonts as normal |

IN TEXT SYMBOLSIn text symbols.zip (5.67 KB) Here are the common, unique,  and  symbols in miniature form for pasting into text on cards so that the high resolutions versions don't break your computer when you have lots of them across your text box.

NEW CARD TEMPLATESHere are templates for both army cards and spell cards in Magic Set Editor (MSE) format. The file is too large so here is the link: Note: This is version 3 of the templates. If you are already using the previous templates, please see the post below.To use these templates, you must have Magic Set Editor, which can be found here. MSE is a portable app so you can run it from anywhere, even a flash drive, without having to install it, even if you don't have administrator privileges. To access these templates do the following: 1) Unzip the template folder. It contains 4 folders within it. 2) Navigate to [MSE install directory]\data 3) Copy the four folders into the data directory 4) Launch MSE and select "New Set". The templates should be visible at the end of the game type menu. To create official looking cards, you will require certain fonts which have been posted above. Usage note: When typing in the abilities box, inputting _power_, _toughness_, _common_ or _unique_ in lowercase (without the underscores) will insert the relevant symbols. Similarly, typing the ~ character will input the name of the card to save you having to type it out repeatedly.

CARD TEMPLATES V2
The post above with the templates has been edited to link to the new templates.
Version 2 change log:
- Corrected misaligned mask for the artwork on some of the colours
- Added spell ability box padding
If you have the previous version already installed do the following:
1) Navigate to [MSE install directory]\data
2) Delete the four folders pertaining to the AotP templates (these are aotp.mse-game, aotp-army.mse-style, aotp-spell.mse-style and aotp-symbols.mse-symbol-font)
3) Download and unzip the new templates using the link in the post above
4) Copy the four new folders into [MSE install directory]\data
5) Open MSE and use the new templates
Note: The templates will still work with all set files made with the old templates. Opening an existing set will open it with the new templates.

- Hybrid cards are now an option for multicoloured cards
