I think this combo turns fragile phoenixes into warmachines. Phenixes have very low stats but their rebirth ability makes them a bit playable. And Stubborn resilience is a very good buff but buffs the last member of a squad. So, buff the last phoenix than rebirth others than you have 3 buffed phoenixes is a very solid strategy i think. - Sacrify 2 of "Flamewing Phoenixes", - Save your sorceries a bit, - play "Stubborn Resilience", - play 2 sorceries in 2 turns Now, you have 3 killers with 4 , 3 and 8 move with flying. Has anyone played this before or does it work as i think?

You are correct in how this combo works. It is strong if you can get at least one phoenix back. The opponent will be looking to pick off the last phoenix as soon as they can.

I actually like Chandra. She's more of an expert level, hit-and-run kind of player

You know, it is not the "which one is the best" competition.

I agree. All the planeswalkers (at least with their pre-built decks) should be at similar levels with different decks performing better in different situations. Balance comes in as there is no colour that can be the best at every style of play.
