If Gideon has Gideon's phalanx on him. do allied creatures behind Gideon get the defense bonus? since you cant rotate your figure's on other player's turns. And does this change if Gideon is adjacent to his allies. Also, does this affect the enchanted PW as well? (do units count themselves as being in their LoS?) Ps: I'm still a super newb at this LoS is the figure's actual vision thing..used to games being 2D and square based in all directions)

Line of Sight is 360 degrees around the planeswalkers, and facing( meaning they need to have their face turned to the character they are attacking or benefitting) is not part of this game. (It kind of is with the double based figures, but as of yet there are none that are planeswalkers).
So to answer your question, all allies in front, to the side, and behind gain the benefit of the enchanment.
The planeswalker is not boosted by the effect, because it is not a creature

Interesting, I missed that on Stoke the Flames. I am not sure how that would be interpreted.
As a guess, figures include planeswalkers. So if you were playing two planeswalkers It would affect them. I would also say it affects the planeswalker the enchantment is on since they are in clear sight of themselves, but once again that is me guessing.

To be honest, I would say that stoke the flames also applies to the planeswalker you enchant. After all, chandra is definitely within 4 spaces of herself, and it does say figure you control rather than creatures, so I'm guessing it basically targets Chandra AND all her figures within 4 clear sight spaces.

The wording is a bit ambiguous on Stoke the Flames, for sure. I've got some smart-assed players, though, that would probably ask me to prove this using a laser pointer... in which case, we'd go to a die-roll decision. What's the contact procedure for asking Hasbro?
