So I've been trying to build a midrange-esque army for Arlinn, one that's a little less aggressive and a a little more control than the -deck-wins-esque Prophet-Kessig-Firecat 600 pt build that hands itself to you on a silver platter. I like the idea that transforming gives a lot of strength transitioning from aggressive to defensive as necessary and allows for interesting positioning-based plays and would like to play with that a bit. First, I'd like to ask what the "official" tournament point limit is (if there even is one at this point, I haven't seen much of the like) and from there I'll start piecing together what I can.
Obviously, going with the Transform-to-control aspect, I plan on playing the new Kessig squad. I also like the idea of the Goblin Javelineers as another tool to play with positioning since their Volatile Hedron Javelin can be such a powerful ability to force your enemy to play around. Then again, I played Heroscape so adjusting to the change in the availability of Lives on characters is still something I'm working on. As for a spell deck, I figured I'd wait to play with that until I knew exactly what units I'll be using.
Thanks for any input!

I've settled on Arlinn, Kessig, Javelineers and the new Vampire Squad. That way there's synergy with Arlinn's werewolf form ability and it rounds out to a perfect 600 (assuming that's the right point amount since that's what I found the first expansion and a few other additions cemented pretty well). Still working on refining the spell deck.
Once again, thanks for whatever input you might have! I'm hoping since my army is more of an actual idea now and not just a concept thrown at a wall I might get some more interest.
