I like that some colors have more ranged units than others. I don't like that the dispersion of ranged units is as uneven as it is. and have a wealth of range but , and have almost none. I don't know if this is thematic to Magic the Gathering, I've never played, but it would improve balance if , , and had a little more range.

There is a certain design rubric that colors typically have in mtg. Often, certain colors can share an aspect. There isn't much precedent in mtg for ranged units, since the cardplay abstracts this concept a lot. But you'll see and having a fair amount of flyers, for example. I can see having a decent amount of ranged weaponry. They are the color which is typically designed to take down flyers. It abstracts the concept of Reach pretty well. I'm having great difficulty understanding why has it so much. I wouldn't worry to much about the lack of ranged for other colors. They'll come, but some colors likely will rarely have them, like I imagine to be. Just a guess.

I feel like the colors that don't have ranged also are balanced by having high attack or abilities that require you to be at close range. Like the Blighted Reavers or Ob Nixilis, that are both VERY powerful at close range.
