How do you play with him in regards too height advantage? Huge creatures should have a special rule that they have height advantage as long as they are taller then everything. Feels silly when a kor hookmaster on a single hex tile has height advantage over him

I typically play him as the rules specify.

If the Ruiner has height advantage all the time it would be unfair. It already has a few advantages.
It seems the rules are pretty specific about this. "If the base of one figure is higher than the base of the other figure (no matter what their actual size or height), the higher figure has height advantage"

Heroscape has some spiders - they never tower above anyone. However, they can give a nasty bite in the knee when they are a hex above their opponent. I understand why you might want to use a rule like that, but I play the rule as written.

Think of every figure that has an Achilles heel as the weakest spot, so you only need height advantage on that. In a lot of fantasy movies with giants or monsters, I see people do a jump-slash attack at the giant feet (or use ropes around legs ala AT-AT in battle of Hoth) to help fall him/her/it, whereas the giant has a difficult time attacking a low figure if it is attacking from higher ground (unless it stomps)
