I was doing a bit of maintenance today, and while removing nearly 75 members that were obvious bots, I dug a bit deeper to see what else I could do around here. I think the game reference section could be updated. In fact, I think the entire battle arena section needs to be reworked a bit to make game reference into a resource that is easier to navigate. I hope to somehow add popups/tooltips to the base forumware so that when a specific card is named, a small popup shows up with the card example, making the experience more intuitive with less need to make outside references. For example: duressThese can be plugged in each post by a user, but takes manual ability to do it instead of automatically whenever a word such as 'Duress' is written.

I like the example of the popup with the card text. That is an excellent use for the text scans you've provided. I'd like to plug in such things but don't know how it works. is there a quick hint on how?
Never mind the hint, I found the details in the Card Reference section. Nicely done!

Hello Targanth , Thanks for the feedback. Sadly, the instructions in the card reference section is to show all users how to put the images in a post. It doesn't instruct on how to put the popup hyperlink in a post. That one is a lot more involved. The popup in the op took me a dozen edits to get it right using the new popup button that I installed into the forumware. I want users to be able to use this functionality with anything they wish to post, but what I really want is to institute it as a wikitionary of sorts. For example, whenever somebody makes a post with the word 'Duress', spelled correctly and capitized correctly, I want the text to hyperlink a popup for that card text. Much the same way as when you capitalize a Mtg color, like , and you get . Make the forumware do the work by default so that users don't have to go through the work in each and every post that they make, which is so tedious. This way the forum becomes an ideal place to discuss the game due to the interface being so easy and intuitive to use. Not to mention users like you and great content that the users provide, which is more important really. The interface will help draw them. Win win for everyone. The problem lies in proboards itself. Users and proboards make forum addons that can be plugged in. Sadly, not every instance has been covered yet and I lack the knowledge to do most of this myself without quitting my job. But for an example of what I am referring to, check out the forums at dakkadakka.com. Legoburner has made great forumware there and the hyperlink popups on acronyms and such in posts are a huge help for users. I want to take it a step further here as mentioned. Text popups are an option as well 〈One could just put the text of rules, a faq ruling, or whatever you wish into this popup.〉

Ok, the best I can come up with so far is similar to how the game symbols can be inserted into a post by capitalizing the correct name of the card.
For example, I'll keep duress lowercased and the word will pop up. But as soon as I capitalize it, it becomes: Duress
If any characters are directly before or after it, like: Duress. 'Duress' The link won't work.
I cannot manage a way to hyperlink the tooltip/popup with the current forum ware.
On the plus side, everytime you correctly spell the name of a spell, the image will be automatically inserted into the post.
Going forward, this may be the easiest way to handle this until a better solution comes a long.
I'll put an instructional primer in the card reference section to help users understand how this works and update the cards to include both expansions as soon as time permits.

Anyone is welcome to test this function out in this thread. They are emoticon replacements, and if you use the drop down menu for the smilies above, they will be visible and able to be inserted from there as well. That's not recommended since the drop down menu list may get quite long, but still possible. All of the spells from the first core are installed. Other cards forthcoming asap.
