This includes Squad/Planeswalkers, it can be based just on opinion and not fact. If you so choose. I'll post what I think after I hear from a few of you guys.

as of right now i think that Kiora has the best card simply because her multiple colors allow for the highest number of combination.

The phoenixes with their continuous comeback is really nice. Plus if you suicide with two you can then play stubborn resilience on the remaining one, then just bring back the other ones. Now you have you have super fast flying phoenixes of death.

A bit of a different thought here, is that one of the cards may very well become much better in the future. I'm talking about the Kor Hookmasters. Currently all army cards are unique - only one copy per army. The rules suggest that at some time there will be common armies as well as unique ones. The DETAIN is able to affect ALL of the figures associated with the name of the card - that could be many figures! So while the Hookmasters are OK now, they may become very powerful in the future.

Currently, I'd have to go with Ob Nixilis. He has flying AND the ability to just declare a creature dead. Granted, that player gets to draw a card, but in three turns, he's attacked three times taking out maybe 3 creatures AND insta-killed 3 other ones!

In my opinion, probably due to my damage focused play style, I have to go with the Goblin Javelineers because of their Volatile Hedron Javelin ability. They are quite the formidable foe well able to stand their ground in melee combat and that also puts them in the engaged state which is more of a hindrance to my opponent than me. The Herdon Javelin ability is supposed to be successful 85% of the time making them a good choice for taking out a figure that has 1-2 Life. Not to mention how good they are with a damage buff enchantment.

My favorites so far are the Blighted Reavers because they pair well with tons of stuff. Mostly because of their ability to reduce squads AND hero defense by 2 is amazing. This leaves many heroes fairly weak and even nullifies many squads defense altogether. Blighted Reavers + Dark Harvest:Sure you have to give one up, but even two creatures with an attack of 6 against weakened opponents can make a game pretty quick. If you play Rise of the Dark Realms then you can have all 3. Blighted Reavers + Ghoul Vanguard:Use the Ghoul Vanguard to move a Blighted Reaver next to a squad creature then move and attack with the Vanguard. Presto! You'll swell your zombie ranks in no time. Blighted Reavers + Demonic Appetite:Great combo for a discard theme spell deck. Add on a Duress and you're constantly making your opponent discard no matter who you're attacking. Blighted Reavers + Corpse Lunge:this just doubles the fun. Double discards, tons of potential damage, taking out multiple enemies in one turn. Plus the buff from Lilliana makes them a little more durable. Those are the reasons I enjoy playing with the Blighted Reavers.

I'm a big fan of the Path Wardens. It's probably not very smart due to the elf-themed army not being awfully powerful, but their ability seems very powerful to me and if gains access to any more powerful elves or characters with a lot of ranged potential, I think their protection can be pretty sweet. Obviously I'm a bit biased though.

I'd have to vote necro-alchemist. Its ability is pretty powerful, considering already does so much. Now does even more.
