Those are nice!
My only gripe is having to manually cut out the hole in the pic to fit it... maybe provide a template for that part?
Better Yet, why not put a solid off-color space where the picture goes? That way someone with gimp can use the Magic Wand and "Paste Into?"
Not complaining, mind you. Just trying to help.

Awesome. I'm a developer and can turn this into a "magic set editor" (a program to create custom cards for tcg's like magic, yu-gi-oh, etc..) template. Would you mind if i use these files?

Hey, newbie here. I like what you've done ad was wondering if you could get the multicolor and army card templates as well. Maybe even update this thread as new potential templates come around.

Could you send me the files when they're done? I just didn't like using that program - it was too finnickey for me. My graphic editing skills are better....

So i deiced to model your templates the same way as someone elses on Photoshop, this will defiantly make it easier for people to make cards.

I wish people would start using these when posting their ideas. Then I could print and play them on card stock.

Hey there, I don't know if you're able to take a request, but I could use your help wardemonx237. If you look at the comments thread for the HeroScape mod for Tabletop Sim, you'll see I'm currently working on converting HeroScape's units up to the AotP system. I'm planning to use your templates (name will NOT be cropped out, you deserve all credit for your work), but well...there's no option. HeroScape has a fair few mechanical units if I remember right. I only ever owned the first base set, but having a gray option allows me to add artifact creatures that are usable with any Planeswalker. The Oath of the Gatewatch MTG expansion added a mana symbol that could help with these, and it just so happens the official Magic web page for said set has a nice, big image of that mana symbol ready for use. A purple bordered unit template could also help, as there are some mutant HeroScape units that could probably pass for Eldrazi, and the Ruiner and Scions from Battle For Zendikar have abilities referring to Eldrazi Hero/Squad creatures in general, rather than by each others' names. Being able to expand the options for units beyond 1 hero and 1 squad would be a godsend for the game. With your help, I can make some SERIOUS improvements to the game's roster. AotP has 37 units and 123 spells. I should know, I was VERY thorough with my database. Adding HeroScape's 200+ units would increase the roster of units by over 5 times its current size. I don't know if you're still active on this thread, but these templates would allow me to do quite a bit. As much as I want to convert certain heroes into Planeswalkers, I don't know if that will be possible. If so, gold border unit cards MAY be appropriate. I wish there had already been a mechanic implementing the split-mana-symbol/color cards from MTG so that we could have creatures usable by Planeswalkers with either/or color, but I'm not sure how to balance that, or if it would even be necessary to "balance" it. I have my work cut out for me, but with appropriate time and resources, I will be able to do this. I'll try to remember and check back soon.

@krakaton I created a blank template for multi color if you need that. I can see if I can create a template if you still need that.

Hello hako, welcome to the boards! One way to use the templates on windows system would be to right mouse click on the image you wish to use. That will allow you to SAVE AS the image to your own computer. Once you have it on you machine, you need to have a program to modify the image. It is possible to use Paint, though there are better tools available.
