You can use 10 point cost. But the strategy you suggested only be good with nissa. Other planeswalkers should expose themselves to attack.
I thought this is a more of a melee PW thing. They can hide behind a Hedron until opponents get in movement range. And they should calculate the perfect time to get closer to Hedron because it is dangerous to be near and they cant use any spell or summon new armies. It is kind a balanced i think.

I think it would also be good with Orb who can fly, and pick poke with ability, using the hedrons to create walls to stop rng arks, And the RW chick the lithomancer who teleport from Heston to hedron an make ranged atks.
This is just what I thought at first glance but I may be wrong about how her ability works
Now that I’m thinks Jace and projections would also make decent use of these so it may be fair across the board.

I cant remember spesific abilities but any thing that requires line of sight cannot be used. So you shoud check them. I want to use this model with some downscaling and will glue it on a 28mm figure base. www.thingiverse.com/thing:2823406There is no place on them to wait.
