Whipped up the template in MSE based on a design for horizontal double-wide cards made by an MSE forum user ("cbg"). Intended miniature: Aaracokra (Dungeons and Dragons: Tyranny of Dragons) or D&D Attack Wing. EDIT: I just saw the typo - should be "Bird Soldier s." This design is a variant of the Flamewing Phoenix in terms of cost, but the effect might need to nudge the cost up slightly. Let me know what you think!

Neat template. I'd definitely nudge the cost up. The stats alone seem to warrant that. 60ish range? I think the enchantment destruction is flavorful and in line with . Great idea.

The template is really temporary until I can make one using the actual card frame, though this one easily fits into available sleeves... I agree with you on the cost. I haven't played much with interesting terrain, so I'm not sure how to value flying. Otherwise the squad is a near copy of the Aven Cloudchaser MtG card.

I think terrain is key. The problem is, most Heroscape/Arena boards are really slim in that area. But even though line of sight blocking terrain is normally minimal, the height advantage that flyers more easily gain makes up for it, I believe.

Very interesting! I like the card design and the card. Being a common squad at a cost of 40 cost, 2 squads of Aven Cloudchasers could be drafted in place of the (current) Rhino Soldiers (90 cost). Since I don't yet have the game, I don't know what rules govern a common squad. Suppose I did draft two squads. On a turn, if I choose Aven Cloudchasers, would I get to place only 3 figures, or all 6? Would I activate any 3? Or all 6? Part of the reason for asking relates to the Disrupt Magic . If I Summon them one squad at a time, I should be able to Disrupt Magic each time I summon a squad. With Gideon as the Planeswalker, there are 150 points left to apply to other figures. If I drafted 3 squads, I'd have the potential ability to destroy three separate enchantments on my enemy.

I think the cost should be revised to 55 or 60 to ameliorate this; you're probably right that it would be too strong to take 2 such squads. Another thought I had was requiring the summoned squad to be within some clear-sight distance of the figure that is enchanted with the Aura you want to destroy.

Maybe, but as fluff rationale, these are flying creatures coming into battle from far over head. They disenchant any unit on the field. I might restrict it to only creature enchantments though, and not planeswalker enchantments.

I might restrict it to only creature enchantments though, and not planeswalker enchantments. I understand the consideration in restricting it. However, at this time, that would impact the most (5 squad enchantments), then (3) (2) and (1). If all enchantments are able to be affected, then it would be (6) and (4) (4) (4). I wonder if restricting it would make the unit situational?

Good point, surely. Restriction, at the moment at least, probably shouldn't occur.

It's WAY too underpowered, in my opinion. Increase at least the to 3
